COACH WESSELS is the official MURTH coach.

Coach Wessels is one hell of a dude and none of us would be where we are without him. He's a shoulder to cry on and he always gives us lifts in his Isuzu bakkie. Once when i was cold he even lent me his free state rugby jersey.

So here's to you coach we love you like a Dad.

Heck yeah - 8 years on and Murth has caught on fire. Last month we released the much anticipated MURTH video. The premier was a hit and a few limited DVD copies are being made for those uncool enough to own one. If you're too cool...get your fix on VIMEO http://vimeo.com/18735149

But now...now we have a blog!

The MURTH crew have endured some trying times. We've ceased a few water pumps, dodged a few cops...that sort of thing. And there's bigger stuff like getting kicked off a cruiseliner in some tropical Atoll, surviving a divorce and getting your butt kicked in a game of S-K-A-T-E by a 38 year old (sorry AM).

But somehow we always manage to find a pool or something obscure to go and skate.

This photo was taken in the bottom of a pool. It was two years ago and I swear that was a shit time for me. Some chick almost ruined the freindship. But I still managed to sweep up some leaves in the bottom of a pool. And Brett still managed to snap this beauty on his limited edition Arkitip Disposable Camera. And then we skated.

Goat is Swamped

I've been shooting a clothing catalogue for the last two days. Before you get excited - No - I'm not the model. As soon as I've wrapped this thing up I' m going to issue some road rash to all you wolf-pigs out there. Get prepared. I'm psyched for this blog.
